ESSEX MODEL RAILWAY GROUP

Also known as the 'SADMEN'

(Somerset And Dorset Model Engineering Newcomers)

We are just a small group of (mainly) members of the

Gauge 1 Model Railway Association & Gauge 3 Model Railway Association

We have interest in all aspects of the model railway world but we particularly like the making and running of both live steam and electric locomotives in 'Gauge 1' and 'Gauge 3'.  We meet together mainly on Thursday mornings at various members houses and during the summer months we have Saturday meetings as announced.  If you would like to know more, please phone Cliff on 01702-217422 Monday to Saturday 9 am to 9 pm.

These pages will normally be updated at the beginning of January, April, July and October, so if you would like to be on this list, let me know your available dates.

Sadly most of the wooden track has now gone, to be replaced with gauge widened plastic.  Much less maintenance!!!
